Detailed Introduction
1、 Instrument Overview:
Monochrome glass tube level gauge is mainly suitable for directly indicating the height of medium level in various containers such as tanks, towers, tanks, and boxes. The instrument structure is simple and easy to use. The upper and lower valves of the instrument are equipped with safety steel balls. In the event of accidental damage to the glass, the steel balls will automatically seal under the pressure inside the container, preventing liquid from overflowing from the container.
2、 Measurement principle:
The monochrome glass tube level gauge is equipped with M27 × 1.5 or ZG3/4 "threaded joints on both the upper and lower valves, which are connected to the container through flanges to form a connector. The height of the liquid level in the container can be directly read through the glass plate.
The instrument is equipped with steel balls inside both the upper and lower valves. When the glass tube is damaged due to an accident, the steel balls will block the channel under the pressure inside the container, so that the container will automatically seal and prevent the liquid inside the container from continuing to flow out.
3、 Structural features:
The upper and lower valves of the glass tube are equipped with flange joints, which are connected to the container to form a connector. The liquid level inside the container is directly indicated by the glass tube. Steel balls are installed inside the upper and lower valves. When the glass accidentally breaks, the steel balls automatically seal and block the channel under the pressure inside the container, preventing the medium inside the container from continuing to flow out. The supplier of the needle valve on the upper end of the instrument is equipped with a limited plug screw for air release, and the lower end needle valve is also equipped with a limited plug screw for air release, sampling, drainage, and cleaning. The lower end is equipped with a drain valve for sampling, maintenance, flushing, or discharging liquids. At present, some small tube level gauges also belong to glass tube level gauges. The external material is made of stainless steel 304 (the lowest standard) and can use water, hydraulic oil, engine oil, etc. 316 stainless steel is suitable for media with higher corrosiveness.

Liquid level gauge is a commonly used flow measurement instrument with certain applications in multiple industries. Glass tube level gauge:
Glass tube level gauges can come in various forms according to usage requirements. For those with low requirements, they can be made from scratch. For precision containers, the liquid level can be read using a flat, smooth, and coarse glass tube (to reduce capillary phenomena) and a more precise vernier scale.
A floating magnet (also known as a float) 1 is installed in the glass tube connected to the container, and dry spring relays 2 are installed at the upper and lower ends of the glass tube outside. In this way, when the float approaches the reed relay, the relay produces a switch action, which can control or alarm the upper and lower limits of the liquid level.
Glass tube level gauge is suitable for direct indication of liquid level in low-pressure, open or sealed containers.
Glass level gauge:
Its structure consists of a thin groove on a thick tempered glass plate 1, with the lower end connected to the liquid being measured in the container through a metal tube 2, and the upper end connected to the liquid level above the container through a metal tube 3. A valve 4 is installed at the connection point with the container for easy operation.
The glass plate level gauge can withstand high pressures (up to 40 kgf/cm2) and measure the liquid levels of various media (such as water, weak alkali, ammonia solution, various oil products, copper propylene, benzene, isopropyl alcohol, etc.). If measuring liquid levels from a larger range, such as 3-4 meters, several sections of glass plate can be connected to form a glass plate level gauge with both a larger range and higher pressure resistance.
7、 Installation, use and maintenance of liquid level gauge:
1. In order to ensure that the automatic sealing exceeds the planned function, the pressure of the medium inside the container shall not be less than 0.2 MPa. When opening the upper and lower valves, the valve stem shall exit at least 4 revolutions (so that the steel ball does not touch the top of the valve stem when sealing the door).
2. Instruments in use should be regularly inspected. Clean the dirt on the inner and outer walls of the glass panel to make the liquid level display clear.
3. When tightening bolts during the maintenance and assembly of glass panels, close attention should be paid to the uneven force on the glass panels that may cause them to break. Therefore, the bolts must be clamped multiple times in the order shown in Figure 1, 2, 3 to 10, 11, and 12 in a cross pattern.
8、 Installation precautions:
1. During transportation, handling, and installation of glass tube level gauges, impact or knocking is not allowed to prevent the glass tube and glass fragments from breaking.
2. After installing the liquid level gauge, do not immediately open the valve when the medium temperature is high. Preheat for 20-30 minutes and slowly open the valve after the glass tube has reached a certain temperature.
Valve opening procedure: First slowly open the upper valve, then slowly open the lower valve to allow the measured medium to slowly enter the glass tube.
3. During use, the liquid level gauge should be regularly cleaned of dirt on the inner and outer walls of the glass tube to maintain clear liquid level display. Cleaning procedure: First, close the upper and lower valves connected to the container, open the drain valve, drain the residual liquid in the glass tube, use appropriate cleaning agents or use a long rod brush to clean the dirt on the inner wall of the tube.
4. If the quartz tube is broken or heavily scaled and needs to be replaced, the specific steps are as follows

Remove the watch body, unscrew the nuts and nuts at both ends, use a wooden stick to strike the quartz glass tube from one end to the other, remove the graphite ring, and install a new quartz tube
Then, place the graphite ring on the quartz tube and insert it evenly into the watch body. Tighten the nuts and caps at both ends, confirm that there is no leakage, and then put it into operation.
